Though handmade, wheel-thrown ceramic sinks are no less durable and are definitely an item of beauty.  These sinks are high fired for strength and durability.  The temperature at which they are fired vitrifies the clay to make it as chip-resistant as any commercial sink.  The benefit of these sinks is the custom sizing and hand painted original designs available.  Some styles have three-dimensional additions that make the sink even more unique.  Sinks can be made to fit tight spaces and are vessel or drop-in style.

The above sink (23) has a sculpted rim.  Sinks can be vessel or drop-in depending on the rim size. It is recommended that the drain be sent to ensure accurate size.  It will be returned with the sink.  Below are examples of full and partial drop-in sinks.
